Se quel che dice è vero

e lei sente per me

desiderio ossessivo

come io per lei

 

nella calura del mezzogiorno

nella sua tenda in segreto

ci incontreremo

per compiere la promessa…

 

rivelare la passione

che sentiamo uno per l'altro

così come l'aspra prova

e il male dell'estasi.

If what she says is true
And she feels for me
The obsessive desire
That I feel for her,

Then, in the sweltering heat of noon,
In her tent, in secret,
We will meet
To fulfill the promise completely...

We will reveal the passion
We feel one for the other
As well as the harshness of the trial
And the pains of ecstasy.
